Dinas Panorama - 19th September 2020
Twenty walkers met in sunny but chilly conditions for this walk starting near Carn Enoch. The route took the group in a westerly direction over open hillside to Bedd Morris and then onto Fford Bedd Morris with a stop for coffee and to enjoy the view of Newport Bay. Outer layers were shed at this point, as the wind had dropped and the temperature increased accordingly. At Carn Ffoi our route looped back to take quiet bridal paths and lanes along the lower slopes of the hill with another stop at Penparc for lunch. Luck was on our side as the previously overgrown path at Cae Coch had been cut in the 3 weeks since the recce. Afternoon coffee was taken at the viewpoint above Dinas cross.
The final leg took the party to Garn Fawr and a steep climb to the summit, followed by Carn Enoch and a descent to the cars parked just beyond.
