Solva, Coast and Countryside
After the wet weather of late, it was a welcome change to have dry albeit chilly conditions for the walk from Solva. The steep climb from the harbour was rewarded with fine views along the estuary. Our path then headed across fields and stiles to reach Whitchurch and then descended to Middle Mill where coffee was taken at the picnic area alongside the river.
We then headed back towards Solva and a climb up the Gribin to overlook the harbour.
The second half of the walk took us to Pointz Castle via St Elvis and then back to Solva via the cost path.
